Southeastern Pain Specialist welcomes Dr. Donald Orr, Dr. Sheahan

Dr. Donald Orr has joined our medical team at Southeastern Pain Specialist with special interest in Pain Management. He is a board Certified Neurologist and has practiced general Neurology for more than twenty years. His clinical focus will now be the assessment of pain and it's treating options. Dr. Orr is a graduate of Duke University and completed his residency and fellowship at The Southwest Medical School. Dr. Donald Orr has also received his masters in Theoretical Biology at The University of Chicago in 1974. Dr. Donald Orr is a wonderful asset to the Southeastern Pain Specialists team with his clinical knowledge in Neurology he adds additional benefits to the patients. More so to those dealing with pain related issues such as Migraines, headaches with his expertise in Neurology.

Dr. Kevin Sheahan is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology with subspecialty qualifications in pain management. Dr. Sheahan is also certified by the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Sheahan is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of South Florida. He then completed his fellowship in pain medicine at Emory University. Dr. Sheahan was a medical director of the Southern Crescent Pain Center in Newnan, Georgia from 1993 until he joined Southeastern Pain Specialist, P.C. in July of 2007, and has treated pain through a number of different therapies including spinal cord stimulators and implantable pumps. He serves as a volunteer for the Georgia State Medical Board and has given numerous lectures regarding pain and addiction.
